Considering purchasing a ductless mini split heat pump? Did you know Mitsubishi is offering customers from select municipal utility communities special pricing on the purchase of a cold climate heat pump? Projects with an installation date of January 1, 2021 or later are eligible and the offer goes through December 31, 2021 or until funds are exhausted. Eligible customers have the option of purchasing one or two single-zone devices for a $300 discount per device or one multi-zone device for a discount of $500. HELPS Connected Homes Program leverages the technology of smart appliances and devices into cost savings for the light department and its customers. Customers agree to allow their light department to make brief, limited adjustments to their devices during times of peak electric demand and are rewarded with a quarterly incentive check. Interested in solar panels?
The new Massachusetts Municipal Light Plant Solar Rebate Program allows residential customers of municipal light plants to apply for a rebate for the purchase, installation, and usage of PV solar panels on their homes.
The program includes a solar rebate of $1.20/watt, capped at $3,000 per system. Eligible solar installations must be 10 kW or less, with less than 20% shading, and facing between 90 and 270 degrees. The rebate applies to the first 5 kW of each project. Other restrictions may apply.
